Sling Library

The Healthy Opportunities Sling Library (formerly Harpenden Slings) is a local bookable sling information and hire service open to all families wishing to explore babywearing.

Babywearing is a method to carry a baby, toddler or child close to an adult's body using a supporting device, sling or carrier.

There are many types - stretchy wraps, woven wraps, structured carriers and hybrid carriers to name just a few. At the library there are many different carriers to try, have fitted and borrow.

Sessions run in Harpenden, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead & Redbourn.
You are welcome to attend whichever session is most convienient for you or where ever the next appointment is available.
